I read that article. I hope it's a good remake in the same way the new Dr Who is rather than a crashing disaster like the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy film. That journalist was spot on regarding the insane plots and dodgy translation "your mother had wheels", not to mention the frightwigs and other "effects" - - that they are a huge part of its appeal, ooh and the Buddhist sayings "when what is indestructible meets what is irresistible the female always wins".
