Some more information:

1) Daigoro Films Ltd. have done the translation *and* adaptation of the 13 
undubbed episodes for the UK Monkey DVDs.

2) About the Monkey appearances in London - I jumped the gun on these. The 
Virgin appearances aren't yet confirmed, plus the dates of the HMV ones were 
incorrect. Here's the latest information about London record stores and 
their involvement with the UK Monkey DVDs:

HMV Oxford Circus - will have all members of the video dept wearing the 
T'shirts from Monday.  They have also agreed that the Monkey character can 
walk around handing out fortune cookies at 2 different times on Monday
29th: lunchtime from 12 - 1.30/2pm and 5.30 - 7pm

HMV Bond St - only want T'shirts please. Wearing them from Monday 29th.

HMV Trocadero - will have staff wearing T'shirts from Monday 29th and 
they've also agreed to the Monkey character coming round on Friday 3rd after 
3pm.

Tower Piccadilly - Will have staff wearing T'shirts from Monday 29th.

3) The June issue of Maxim magazine is a World Cup Special and features the 
Monkey DVD as an essential item needed to host a World Cup Japanese banquet 
in your front room

4) A news item to promote the UK Monkey DVDs has appeared on the BBC Cult 
web site:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/news/02042402.shtml
(note - it says currently that the undubbed episodes are in Chinese with 
English subtitles - it should say Japanese with English subtitles, and I've 
emailed them to complain)
A competition goes up on the site on the week beginning 29 April 2002, and 
will remain on the site for 2 weeks.
