Does anyone know where I can find pictures from this Monkey remake TV series? I know that it features lots of CGI, but I'm wondering what the characters look like. Has anyone on the list seen this remake TV series by NTV? Fabulous Films have been declined permission to feature these clips by "the powers that be" in Japan. This means that the following planned video clips will not appear: 1) Monkey feature from BBC's "I Love 1979" 2) Monkey feature from BBC's "I Love Kung Fu" 3) The FULL Masaaki Sakai interview contained within these (this was the interview conducted by the BBC at Masaaki's house in Tokyo in Summer 2000 - which I helped to arrange!). They'll subtitle this interview into English, so you'll all get to hear Masaaki's voice (as opposed to dubbing it as the BBC did for the "I Love..." shows. All's not lost - I'm currently helping Fabulous Films come up with some alternative video clips to replace these ones... plus various other extras that fans will love. Don't forget that the DVDs WILL DEFINITELY feature the 13 unseen episodes, subtitled into English - which in themselves will make these DVDs highly sought after.
