I've been contacted recently by someone from Rapido TV (the company who make 
"Eurotrash"):
"The show I am working for is called Monkey Trash. It is a one -off special of 
Eurotrash which is being entirely devoted to monkeys as part of a Channel 4 
themed evening to coincide with the release of Planet of The Apes. We are 
generally watched by some 4 million people. We are looking for all things 
monkey...songs, films, dancers, obsessives etc. Who better to have on as a 
studio guest than than monkey himself!!"
 
They're hoping to do a feature about Masaaki Sakai on this show - in fact, 
they'd like to have him as the main guest.
I've put them in touch with Masaaki Sakai's management in Tokyo, and it looks 
like it won't be possible to get either Masaaki Sakai or Sans Filtre on the show 
at this short notice - Masaaki Sakai's schedule is full at the moment.
 
So, as an alternative, they're going to try to get permission to show a clip of 
Masaaki Sakai performing in his band Sans Filtre, for the show!
 
The current plan is that "Monkey Trash" will go out on Thursday 23rd August, 
10.30pm on Channel 4. This time slot could change - Channel 4 keep changing 
it...
 
I'll let you know the latest news when I get it.
