Are you are able to play PAL tapes? My VCR can record PAL and NTSC but it depends on the broadcast I think, so I will assume PAL will be the format. If that is okay with you no problem. If you can't play PAL you can probably get it converted locally. Other than that I may be only able to do one tape depending on how many broadcasts are left and I am in Singapore to tape them. If not I will get at least a single recording and pass it to Howell who can send it on once he has finished with it. Sounds like you and I think alike when it comes to the tired, well-worn "America- centric" themes that these movies churn out (no offense to America, its just that, well, some of your movies don't make much sense to the rest of us. Think of Independence Day and you'll understand). I will most certainly have to watch it now, and I'll remember this critique. I will try to keep an open mind, but after you've grown fond of something one way, it's always a bit difficult to accept something radically different.
