I've just had some more information about the Monkey rerun on ABC in 
Australia...

"The schedule will be as described previously, although we won't be able to 
interview people about their thoughts on Monkey..no time and money..so we 
will probably use four and a half eps per week. That will give us 18 eps in 
the month, and the remainder one ep at a time for the rest of the year.
After the four specials we will probably break the one episode into two 
parts as Recovery is a fast moving music and popular culture show, and I 
know this will annoy the true fans but our regular viewers expect to be able 
to tune in and see rock and roll, interviews, etc..and a forty minute block 
of Monkey may make them turn to our opposition "Video Smash Hits", on a 
commercial channel.

BTW interest here is growing about the repeats.. I was interviewed over the 
phone by a TV reporter from Melbourne's main broadsheet newspaper 'The Age' 
today..I was most amused, I've directed award winning comedy and rock and 
roll shows and no-one wanted to talk to me.. but mention Monkey ...  :)

I've had a good look around your site too.. great work, and I've
given it a big plug in the aus.tv newsgroup. As Angus Sampson (our host) and 
I have used your collected research to help us with our intros, we'll give 
you a credit verbally and, of course, send you a copy to keep."
