You can find this Monkey/Star Wars crossover here: http://www.fanfix.com/stories/cross/swcross.txt (lots of other fan fiction stories can be found here: http://www.fanfix.com/pages/cross.htm) I was thinking of creating a Fan Fiction section on my site soon, linking to this and your pages, and if I get any new Monkey fan fiction, I could post it on my site too. Suddenly, one of my friends pointed to the right and said, "Look Howell, it's Monkey!" To my surprise, a guy wearing a Monkey outfit and carrying a magic wishing staff was skipping along the road. He looked at us, said "Good evening" in a perfect Monkey voice, then ran up the steps into the hotel, twirling his magic wishing staff as we went. I was gobsmacked, and didn't say anything to him... Then, a few minutes later, he came skipping back down the steps, and I asked him what was going on. There was a Star Trek exhibition in a hotel across the road, and he'd dressed up as Monkey for it! I told him that I'd met Masaaki Sakai, which freaked him out, before he ran off across the road, and skipped along to the hotel entrance, still twirling his magic wishing staff. People were stood at the side of the road staring at him as he skipped past. I wish I'd had a camera with me. This guy's outfit was really spot on. Even his headband looked like an absolute replica of the real thing. And the wishing staff was almost as tall as him. Looks like I've met Monkey twice now :O) Howell ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com - ----------------------------------------------------- How do I leave this mailing list? + Send an email to: majordomo@valinor.eldar.org + In the body of your email message, put: unsubscribe monkey Need help? + Send an email to: owner-monkey@valinor.eldar.org NOTE: If you reply to this message, you must remove everything between the dashed lines (----) in your reply, or it will not go to the list. - ----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 04 May 1999 05:17:25 PDT From: "Howell Parry" Subject: [monkey] More fan fiction Here's another piece of Monkey fan fiction: http://www.sou.edu/ART/Miles/mscrip.html It features a Professor Tripitaka! It's actually the script to a 3D computer animated film based on the first chapter of "Journey To The West": http://www.sou.edu/ART/Miles/infomon2.html Howell PS I posted to the list about this a year or 2 back - I'm reposting just in case you missed it last time.
