I really liked that episode, it was sad (in a good way) I didn't believe that he was Sandy's Dad since Sandy wasn't actually born a sea monster, he was just made that way when he was kicked out of heaven. However, if I missed something that would explain this then somebody better set me straight. Mind you, Monkey is not immune from making big logic mistakes just to make a good story.
