I always think that the funniest part to monkey was when he pissed on budda's fingers believing them to be the pillars to the end of the world, that still makes me laugh. So if you have a funny memory of monkey that makes you smile when you think of it please write in and tell me Love, Saif xxx ;-) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Feb 1998 00:38:50 PST From: "Howell Parry" Subject: Re: [monkey] The funniest bits of monkey >Can anyone write in with their favourite parts to monkey, whether >they are phrases, scenes or whatever. >I always think that the funniest part to monkey was when he pissed on >budda's fingers believing them to be the pillars to the end of the >world, that still makes me laugh. >So if you have a funny memory of monkey that makes you smile when you >think of it please write in and tell me >Love, Saif xxx ;-) One of my favourite episodes is Outrageous Coincidences, in which Tripitaka, Monkey and Sandy think they've eaten Pigsy, and Tripitaka is so overwhelmed by this (he says "I've eaten my disciple!") that he "becomes" Pigsy (he says that Pigsy is inside him). There's a scene where Tripitaka goes lusting after a pretty girl, and Monkey and Sandy have to pull him away. But the ultimate scene has to be the one where Tripitaka goes clubbing, and we see him dancing in a disco to the "Monkey Magic" theme tune, surrounded by lots of girls. If anyone can make an AVI clip of this scene, I'd be very grateful :) Later on, Pigsy bumps into Monkey and Sandy, and they're terrified of him, thinking he's a ghost. It's a great episode :) Howell ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Feb 1998 00:52:27 PST From: "Howell Parry" Subject: Re: [monkey] contact addresses >If anyone has contact addresses for the main actors from Monkey could you >please let me know. I imagine that, similar to the "Spotlight" directory for performers in the UK, there's a similar directory in Japan. So, if you have any Japanese contacts, maybe they could look in such a directory for us... Alternatively, perhaps NTV would be able to help. Are Masaaki Sakai's current tv shows for NTV? Take a look at the NTV web site: http://www.ntv.co.jp/index2.html and send someone an email. At one time last year, I emailed every email address I found on the NTV web site (I was asking about merchandise, and videos), and the one address that replied to me was this one: mailto:intlprog@ntv.co.jp This is the contact address for distributors / broadcasters around the world to contact if they want to license one of NTV's shows (e.g. Monkey!) for tv etc. You could try sending them an email, and let us know if they give you any contact information.
