The episode guide on http://ds.dial.pipex.com/marty/monkey.htm gives the dates that the episodes were first screened in the UK. For the first episode of the 3rd season, it gives the date 16 Jan 81: 27 Pigsy's Ten Thousand Ladies (16 Jan 81) This would indicate that the 3rd season couldn't have been made in 1981? hi!

I'm currently new to the mailing list, so please bear = with me.=20 As far as I can tell the programme

was called "monkey" (the opening credits = that were put=20 out by BBC2 just had the word 'monkey'

on screen during the opening credits).

You also mention 'prisoner' :=3D Prisoner Cell Block H = (in the=20 UK). However in the UK you may

have to be careful about just talking about = "prisoner"=20 - - there is, for example the late 60s

spy programmes 'The Prisoner' which starred Patrick = Mcgoohan,=20 who was kidnapped and put

in "The Village". Most people refer to this = programme=20 as "Prisoner" or "The prisoner".

PS: Do you have any copies of monkey on video tape? = Currently I=20 can hardly remember this

prog and have only seen the one BBC2 put out a few = days ago...=20 (I understand it's on bravo but

I can't get satellite!).

They went to a lot of trouble to film the fight under water, but it was worth it. If you have episodes one through six from season one on tape, would you be able to do summaries for those? The Japanese band Godiego brought out a CD called "Magic Monkey" which features the opening music "Monkey Magic", the end music "Gandhara", plus lots of other music from the series. It's an excellent CD! I really *wish* I knew an online CD store on the Internet which stock this CD, but I haven't been able to find one. If anyone knows of one, please let me know! As far as I know, it is only available in Japan. I managed to get a Japanese guy to buy it for me a few months ago; if anyone would like a taped copy of this CD, I'd be happy to do it. All I ask is that you pay me my costs (tape, postage). If you'd like a copy, please send me (parryh@finnigan.co.uk) your address, and I'll get it to you.
