I've only got one episode on tape, but there are a couple of good quotes from it. The humour is a bit corny but still fun: Sandy: Pigsy was telling me of his latest invention- dehydrated water. Pigsy: Oh yes, how does it work? Sandy: You just add water. Also, there is a rather amusing scene at the end of the episode where Pigsy and Sandy are reminiscing about their mothers. Pigsy sees a group of pigs parading down the street and he feels that one of them could be his mum: Pigsy: Ah yes, fishface! Hey, you don't think that could be mother do you!? Sandy: Of course not, she's too pretty. Yes this was a really good dinky car cloud with sparkly paddles on the side operated by a young goblin. The goblin had to pedal really hard to go at a slow pace!! Yeah, I remember that his contraption was actually referred to as a "Cloud Kiddy Car"! Also, it may have been in the same episode, where Monkey tries to hit the goblin with his staff whilst pursuing him in a cloud chase. Monkey makes his staff grow to ridiculously giant proportions, so much so, that the staff is seen poking up through the clouds and off the face of the Earth! :) Nick. ------------------------------ From: Nick McCarthy Date: Wed, 21 May 1997 08:29:29 +1000 (EST) Subject: Re: [monkey] "Do you remember the episode where..." page At 07:40 AM 5/20/97 PDT, you wrote: >I've just an idea for another page on my Monkey web site - a "Memories" or "Do >you remember?" page, where I list a whole load of points that people have >mentioned on the mailing list (e.g. Monkey nursing his cloud etc.) So it could >contain, for example, : > >Do you remember the episode where: > >* Tripitaka got stoned, went to a disco and danced to the "Monkey Magic" theme >tune [Astonishing Coincidences] >* Monkey nursed his cloud to health.... >* Monkey was involved in a cloud fight, with machine guns on the front of his >cloud > >etc. > >What do you reckon?
